Our experiences focus on developing four skillsets. Communication, coordination, planning, and continuous improvement. Over the course of one to three days, team members learn an entirely new set of skills and language. This level-setting removes any previously established hierarchy and creates a group of equals. Through rotating leadership positions and by allowing team members to specialize, individuals begin to see the challenges inherent in coordinating and managing, as well as the difficulties of individual tasks. Our instructors facilitate the breakthrough of these challenges and participants discover the power of communicating, coordinating, and planning. Each of these skillsets is blended with a continuous improvement approach - returning to the basics to assess performance of the team, and to document effective ways to perform the tasks.
